“bbhur”

A Self-led social set inspired by Clairmont the Second. This project is a love letter to Black culture and music in Toronto for Black History Month 2025. Inspired by “bbhur” a track from Clairmont the Second, I wanted to create something that felt like a natural extension of his world a companion piece that reflects the deep, old-school hip-hop and rap energy his music carries.

Clairmont’s music and dedication to his craft is genuinely awe-inspiring. His deep, culturally informed approach to writing and art direction transforms personal experiences into immersive storytelling within his world.

By reviewing the art direction in both the music video and social media, I developed a social media set that reflected key elements of the visual style. Using film overlays, negative space, and typography featuring his lyrics, I aimed to add to the storytelling of “bbhur”.
